There is a new chocolate confectionary in town. I’ve created a new brand and products for this company. They, as a business, wanted to stand out from the crowd with casually communication that speaks to a younger audience, the Gen Z generation to be exact. They will promote their qualities which, among other things, show’s that they are ethical when they collect cocoa beans. 

This business wanted the following: 

– Name for their new product

– Letter – or word mark logo with the new name

– A Visual Style Guide

– A2 Poster 

– 2 Social Media Posts 

– A Packaging Design 

The process

First I had to get to know the client, then the byer personas. I did a lot of research in finding out what the gen z generation like, and I then created a moodboard, mind map for names, logo, visual style guide, packaging, A2 poster and social media posts. 

I wanted the logo and vibe to be cheerful, due to the cocoa workers being happy with their great job. I also choose yellow and purple to reflect colors that suits the generation of youngsters. Or Gen Z. 

I wanted the confectionary box to reflect what the company stands for, and generally have a positive vibe.
